At The Wine Shop Penang, we strive to provide a seamless delivery experience for our customers. This Shipping Policy outlines our terms and conditions regarding the shipment of products purchased from our online store.

1. Free Shipping
We offer free shipping on all orders, regardless of the number of bottles purchased. There is no minimum order value required to enjoy free delivery across Malaysia, including Penang.

2. Shipping Coverage
We currently ship within Malaysia only. Deliveries are available to:

• Penang
• Other Malaysian states and regions

3. Delivery Timeframes
We aim to deliver your order within the following estimated timeframes:

• Penang: 1-3 business days
• Other Regions in Malaysia: 5-7 business days


Please note that these timeframes are estimates and may vary due to external factors such as weather, holidays, or courier delays. We will notify you via email if there are any significant delays.

4. Order Processing
After you place your order, we will first confirm the availability of your items before proceeding to payment. Once payment is confirmed, your order will be processed for shipment within 1-2 business days.

You will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information once your order has been dispatched.

5. Optional Insurance Shipping
We offer an optional insurance shipping service at an additional charge. This insurance covers potential damage or loss of products during transit. If you opt for insurance, please indicate it at checkout, and the additional fee will be applied to your total order cost.

6. Shipping Restrictions
We cannot deliver to P.O. boxes.
You must ensure that someone over the legal drinking age (21 years or older) is available to receive the delivery. The delivery service may ask for proof of age upon delivery.

7. Failed Deliveries and Re-delivery
If delivery fails due to the recipient being unavailable, the courier will attempt a second delivery. If the second attempt fails, your order may be returned to us. Re-delivery charges may apply in such cases, depending on the courier's policies.

8. Damaged or Incorrect Orders
If you receive a damaged or incorrect order, you must notify us within 48 hours of receiving your delivery. Please:

We will work to resolve the issue promptly, either by providing a replacement or issuing a refund.

9. Tracking Your Order
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive an email with the tracking number and details. You can use this to track your order directly on the courier’s website.

If you opt for standard (non-insured) shipping, The Wine Shop Penang is not liable for any loss, damage, or theft that occurs during transit. We highly recommend choosing the insurance shipping option for added protection. In the event that you do not select insurance and your product is lost or damaged during shipping, The Wine Shop Penang cannot offer refunds or replacements.

3. Incorrect or Incomplete Address
It is the responsibility of the customer to provide accurate and complete delivery details. The Wine Shop Penang is not liable for any delays or failed deliveries resulting from incorrect or incomplete address information provided by the customer. Additional charges may apply for re-delivery or redirection of the package.

4. Age Verification
By purchasing alcoholic beverages, you confirm that you are over the legal drinking age of 21. The recipient of the delivery may be required to show valid identification upon receipt. The Wine Shop Penang is not responsible for any delivery refusal due to age verification failure.

5. Courier Liability
Once the product has been handed over to the courier for delivery, The Wine Shop Penang's liability ends. Any damage, loss, or delay during transit is the responsibility of the courier, except in cases where insurance shipping is selected. Claims for loss or damage should be directed to the courier unless insurance was purchased.

6. Force Majeure
The Wine Shop Penang shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its shipping obligations if such failure or delay results from events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of nature, war, terrorism, labor disputes, or government actions.
